In Quiet Mode our Acoustic Noise Cancelling™ allows you to block the outside noise and focus on your music – and everything related to it. But there are events that require the ability to listen to what is going on around you. Aware Mode is as simple as double tapping the left earbud and you can quickly switch it. Aware Mode with ActiveSense™ has been included into the new generation of QuietComfort® Earbuds that allows hearing both, the music and the surroundings. Should those surroundings get noisy then ActiveSense™ ramps up the level of noise cancellation to reduce the sounds around you to the volume preferred. The outcome is that all the sounds that you are required to hear, are heard at volumes that are very agreeable and less strident.
